A family of Montana cattle ranchers take on others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned rodeo player. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and revert to the Southern Californian voice he usually uses. WatchMojo’s Featured: 10 Best Summer TV Shows You’re Not Under the Radar (2018) Yellowstone is a solidly written drama – great characters, well-constructed – that borrows its tone from several different modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the plot and grim perspective of The Sopranos, and the dramatic momentum of a show like Dynasty or any other similar drama series. Much respect to Costner and Cole Hauser – these guys give it their all. I didn’t expect this show to be as gripping as it was. It’s worth the time.
