Wisdom Tooth

WISDOM TOOTH REMOVAL:The third molars are located in the very back of your mouth. As they come in between ages 17 and 22 they are called wisdom tooth. Erupting wisdom tooth can grow at various angles sometimes even horizontally.

If the wisdom tooth emerge partially through the gums, they can cause a flap of gum tissue to grow over them. The flap can trap food and lead to a gum infection (Red and swollen gum). They are so far back in your mouth or crowded that you have trouble cleaning around them. And because this area is hard to see and clean, it can become a magnet for bacteria that cause gum disease and oral infection.
